Ready with 5G launch: Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea has announced plans to invest in expanding 4G coverage and begin work on 5G networks in India. The announcement came as rivals Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel also outlined plans to enhance their networks in the high-speed telecom technology. Vodafone Idea's chairman, Kumar Mangalam Birla, stated that the company will make significant investments to roll out 5G and expand 4G coverage across the country. Meanwhile, Reliance Jio highlighted its achievement of deploying a 5G cell every 10 seconds, while Airtel discussed its 5G services launch in 2020.
