Aurobindo Pharma's Pen-G unit under PLI to begin commercial production in April-June 2024 quarter

Aurobindo Pharma's Penicillin-G facility in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, will start commercial production in Q1 FY 2024-25. The facility, with an investment of Rs 2,400 crore, will ramp up to full capacity by Q2 FY25. Around 80-90% of the Pen-G production will be sold in the Indian market.
