'Star Wars: Skeleton Crew' actress Ryan Kiera Armstrong will be the new face of the slayer in Hulu's upcoming 'Buffy' reboot. Sarah Michelle Gellar, who's also an executive producer on the reboot, breaks the casting news to Armstrong in a recent video posted to Instagram.

A new 'Desperate Housewives' series is currently in the works. Disney's Onyx Collective is developing a show titled 'Wisteria Lane,' a reimagining of ABC's 2004 to 2012 hit. Should it go forward, 'Wisteria Lane' would stream on Hulu alongside Onyx Collective's other shows. The project comes from writer and executive producer Natalie Chaidez and EP Kerry Washington.

Hulu is dropping an Alex Cooper documentary. Hulu announced that it will debut the documentary 'Call Her Alex' on June 10, two days after its premiere screening at the Tribeca Festival. The two-part doc follows Cooper, as she prepares for her first tour supporting her 'Call Her Daddy' podcast and traces her life from a childhood in Pennsylvania to influential media figure.

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter Lohan is set to play Violet Lockhart in 'Count My Lies,' a drama that's in development at Hulu and based on the novel of the same name.
