Despite allegations of being a copy of the Hollywood film 'A History of Violence', director Lokesh Kanagaraj has mentioned that it is a tribute to the original. The film has received mixed reviews on social media, with some praising it and others criticizing its alleged similarities to other films. Nevertheless, the movie has attracted a large number of fans, and it features Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, and Arjun Sarja alongside Vijay.
