The petition had called for a prohibition on Indian citizens, companies, and organizations from involving Pakistani actors, singers, musicians, and technicians in their projects. The court stated that promoting cultural harmony, unity, and peace is important and activities like arts, music, sports, and culture transcend nationalities and contribute to peace and tranquility.
