German-born US actor Christian Oliver and his two daughters tragically died in a plane crash off the coast of a Caribbean island. The single-engine aircraft they were on departed from Bequia, a small island in St Vincent and the Grenadines, and encountered difficulties shortly after takeoff. The bodies of Christian Oliver, his daughters, and the plane's pilot and owner, Robert Sachs, were recovered. Christian Oliver had a successful career in Hollywood, appearing in films alongside stars like Tom Cruise and George Clooney.
