Mumtaz was replaced in Mera Naam Joker

According to Mumtaz, Raj Kapoor had her audition for Mera Naam Joker but later decided against casting her, expressing concerns about her wardrobe choices in the film. Mumtaz quoted Raj Kapoor, stating that she will come to their house, and they donβt want her to wear such small clothes in the film. Consequently, the character of Marina was portrayed by Russian actor Kseniya Ryabinkina
