Model actor Poonam Pandey announced her 'death' due to cervical cancer on Instagram, but later clarified it was an awareness campaign. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit criticized her for playing with people's emotions and making fun of a serious health issue. He called for accountability not only from Poonam Pandey but also from those associated with the PR exercise.
