Veteran actor Anjana Bhowmick passes away at 79

Popular actor Anjana Bhowmick, known for her roles in Bengali films from the '60s-80s, passed away at 79. Ailing for some time, she passed away at a private hospital due to respiratory problems. Survived by daughters Nilanjana Sengupta and Chandana Bhowmick. Born in Coochbehar, she shifted to Kolkata during graduation.
