Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange won't appear in Avengers movies until 2027, missing the 2026 release 'Avengers: Doomsday' featuring Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom. Originally planned as Kang the Conqueror, the ultimate villain role shifted due to legal issues. Doctor Strange is set to return in 'Avengers: Secret Wars.'
