Nick Frost, Paapa Essiedu join John's Harry Potter TV series
Monday, 14 April 2025 The upcoming Harry Potter TV series on HBO has announced key cast members, with Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid and Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape. John Lithgow will portray Albus Dumbledore, while Janet McTeer will play Minerva McGonagall. The series aims to closely follow J.K. Rowlingβs books, introducing the magical world to a new generation.
