Aamir Khan and Genelia D’Souza's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' has enjoyed a successful first week, nearing ₹90 crore at the Indian box office. The film, considered a spiritual sequel to 'Taare Zameen Par,' opened strong with ₹50 crore over the weekend. While weekday collections saw a dip, the movie maintained a steady pace. Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film stars Khan as a basketball coach assigned to train athletes with intellectual disabilities.
