'We barely made it': Elderly Ukrainians weep after escaping floodwaters and Russian fire
Wednesday, 7 June 2023 There was a steady stream of boat landings throughout the day in Kherson city in southern Ukraine as the rescue efforts were ramped up to reach those stranded by floodwaters.
Kyiv notified the European Council that the rights and freedoms of Ukrainians may be restricted under martial law as it moves to expand military conscription.
