'Mixture of rain, sleet and snow' forecast as 'cold spell' to grip UK
Friday, 15 November 2024 The UK is likely to experience "several days of cold, potentially disruptive weather next week" including possible rain, sleet and snow, the Met Office has said.
The UK has experienced its sunniest spring on record, with four days of the season still to go. Some 630 hours of sunshine were clocked up across the country between March 1 and May 27, according to provisional figures from the Met Office.
