Monday, 18 November 2024 The UK is braced for "disruptive snow" as yellow weather warnings cover large parts of the country until Tuesday - with the Met Office saying there is the "potential" for the alerts to be "escalated".
The UK has experienced its sunniest spring on record, with four days of the season still to go. Some 630 hours of sunshine were clocked up across the country between March 1 and May 27, according to provisional figures from the Met Office.
