Former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been sentenced to six months in jail by the International Crimes Tribunal for contempt of court. The verdict comes after a leaked audio call revealed Hasina allegedly mocking the judiciary and referencing a “license to kill” 227 people during the 2024 protests.
