Three deadly retaliatory strikes in Gaza have rocked the Israeli military, killing at least five soldiers in just one day. The first ambush, triggered by a booby-trapped building in Khan Younis, forced a rapid IDF evacuation. Additional strikes injured more troops, as helicopters scrambled and military assets were redeployed. The mounting casualties mark one of the deadliest days in recent months, deepening Israel’s military strain amid its ongoing war on Gaza. Resistance forces warn this is only the beginning.

Israeli rescue operations followed under heavy fire. Meanwhile, Israeli strikes killed 52 Palestinians, including civilians and journalists, as Eid al-Adha prayers echoed through Gaza's war-torn skies.
