Friday, 27 June 2025 The prime minister is set to warn of a "backroom stitch up" between the Conservatives, Reform UK and Plaid Cymru ahead of next year's Senedd elections.
Green Party members in England and Wales have until Saturday to decide who should be their next leader. Adrian Ramsay, who has co-led the party since 2021, is running on a joint ticket with North Herefordshire MP Ellie Chowns, after Carla Denyer announced she would be stepping down as co-leader. Shadow home secretary Chris Philp said the Conservatives fully back the government's new childcare scheme, calling it a "continuation of an existing Conservative policy".
