Tuesday, 22 July 2025 Heavy metal star Ozzy Osbourne has died, just weeks after reuniting with his Black Sabbath bandmates and performing a huge farewell concert for fans.

Thousands lined the streets of Birmingham on Wednesday as a hearse carrying the body of Ozzy Osbourne made its way through the city where Black Sabbath was born.

Sharon Osbourne broke down in tears as she paid tribute to her late husband Ozzy Osbourne at his coffin procession in Birmingham on Wednesday. The procession was accompanied by a live brass band performance by musicians from Bostin’ Brass. Sharon was supported by her children Kelly and Jack as she laid a single rose amongst the dozens of floral tributes to the late Black Sabbath star.
