As Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi arrived in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry in a written response circulated to the media said, "We call on Pakistan and India to resolve disputes through dialogue and negotiation and jointly uphold regional peace and stability." China on Aug 6 had objected to the formation of Ladakh as Union Territory by India.
