7 flyers hurt as Air India Delhi-Sydney flight encounters severe turbulence
Wednesday, 17 May 2023 Seven passengers suffered injuries when Air India’s Delhi-Sydney flight on Tuesday encountered severe turbulence. The Boeing 787 (VT-ANY) was operating as AI 302 when it encountered turbulence. It took off from Delhi at 2.43 pm on Tuesday and landed in Sydney at 7.10 am Wednesday after an almost 12-hour flight (all timings local).
Many passengers of the Air India flight operating from Delhi to Sydney were injured after their flight was caught in turbulence. The incident happened on May 16th.
