Seventeen-year-old Rajesh Sen (name changed), a single child from a nuclear family, was addicted to short videos. He would watch YouTube shorts and Instagram reels six to seven hours a day, recalls Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma who heads the SHUT clinic at National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (Nimhans), Bengaluru.
