Law Commission should remember nations' interests are distinct from BJP's political ambitions: Congress on Uniform Civil Code

A day after the Law Commission sought comments from the general public, political parties and others on a Uniform Civil Code, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh called it strange and asked why the subject is being revisited when the previous commission had published a consultation paper on it.
