'Health experts to be deployed in UP, Bihar': Union health minister reviews heat wave situation
Tuesday, 20 June 2023 The Union health ministry has decided to send teams of officers to states experiencing heatwaves to assist the governments there. This was decided at a high-level meeting held by Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya to review public health preparedness to deal with heatwave conditions prevailing in parts of the country.

Chahar, who had secured a resounding victory in 2019 by defeating Raj Babbar, the then-state Congress president, with a margin of five lakh votes, faces twin challenges this time around. Not only is he grappling with internal party conflicts over his candidature, but he also finds himself confronted with significant anti-incumbency sentiment.
