West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee spends 5 hours at SSKM for knee microsurgery

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee underwent a microsurgery for her leg injury at the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER) on Thursday, 10 days after she sustained the injury. Doctors said the CM still needs to restrict her movements and a review will be done after a few days. Even as she was advised to stay in hospital for the night, Banerjee left for home preferring to continue the treatment at home.
