Over 11,500 MBBS seats in Karnataka, no govt quota in 6 deemed-to-be varsities

The wait for the seat matrix is finally over for aspiring doctors in the state, with Karnataka Examination Authority releasing the seat details for its MBBS course. However, at least six of the 11 deemed-to-be universities have refused to share any seat under their jurisdiction to be filled under the government quota, in contravention of what the Fee Regulatory Committee had sought, reports Sruthy Susan Ullas.
