Maharashtra: Hindi varsity VC, woman 'attempt suicide'

Days after facing widespread backlash over his alleged chats with a Noida woman, Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University (MGIHU) vice chancellor Rajanish Shukla allegedly attempted suicide with a woman faculty member on the intervening night of June 26. Shukla and the woman were rushed to Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital (AVBRH) after they consumed liquid mosquito repellent, allegedly to end their lives.
