Sharad Pawar’s NCP wants govt to declare drought in Maharashtra

Working president of the Sharad Pawar group of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and MP Supriya Sule on Thursday asked chief minister Eknath Shinde to declare a drought owing to what she described as a massive loss of standing crop due to poor or no rain across Maharashtra.
