Loan app executive dials Mumbai BJP MLA Ashish Shelar, asks him to repay loan

The world of cyber crime is a great leveller; even political bigwigs aren't spared by fraudsters. BJP legislator Ashish Shelar has lodged a police complaint of harassment after an unidentified person made repeated calls and sent text messages asking him to repay a loan for which he had stood as guarantor. Shelar has said that neither had he availed of any loan, nor stood guarantee for repayment of any borrowal.
