UGC bars universities from using Aadhaar number on degrees and certificates
Sunday, 3 September 2023 The UGC directive comes amid reports that state governments are considering printing of full Aadhaar number on provisional certificates and degrees issued by universities for verification of these documents at the time of recruitment or admission.
