For now grounded Go First cannot use 'G8' designator code

Bankrupt Go First is no longer eligible for the two-letter designator code 'G8,' with IATA barring the code due to the airline's inactivity in recent months. According to an official, the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which assigns two-letter designators and numeric codes to airlines, has restricted the 'G8' for Go First for a 12-month period.
