2030 goal: Halve emissions and treble green energy

During the G20 summit, leaders agreed to make rapid, deep, and sustained cuts in greenhouse gas emissions by 43% by 2030. The goal is to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. They also pledged to triple renewable energy capacity globally by 2030. The leaders recognized the need to mobilize trillions of dollars to achieve these targets and support developing countries in implementing their climate commitments.
