Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma threatens lawsuit, retirement if proved wrong in subsidy issue

Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday said he was willing to accept any punishment, including retirement from public life, a day after a war of words on social media over his wife allegedly receiving Rs 10 crore by way of credit-linked central subsidy spilled over to the assembly floor.
