President Droupadi Murmu has expressed her support for a bill that would provide 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies, describing it as a "transformative revolution" for gender justice. The bill was the first to be introduced in the new Parliament building. Murmu made the comments while inaugurating a conference of national human rights institutions, which is being attended by over 1,300 delegates from India and abroad.
