‘Forced’ to attend tuition, Class 8 boy kills self in Rishikesh

A 13-year-old boy in Rishikesh allegedly hanged himself after being asked to attend tuition classes instead of watching TV. The incident occurred when the boy's family members insisted he go to his class, but he refused and locked himself in his room. Concerned, his grandparents discovered him hanging from a noose and rushed him to the hospital, where he was declared dead. Police have yet to speak with the family.
