FCRA registered NGOs will have to give details of assets created using foreign funds
Monday, 25 September 2023 NGOs registered under the FCRA in India will now be required to disclose details of movable and immovable assets created using foreign funds. This requirement was introduced by the Ministry of Home Affairs through a gazette notification. The ministry also extended the validity of FCRA licenses until March 2024 for entities whose licenses were expiring on September 30.
Goldy Brar, the prime suspect in the Murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, has been fatally shot in the US, according to media reports. According to reports, citing American news channels, Brar, who was declared a terrorist by the Home Ministry, was attacked on Tuesday evening in Fairmont and Holt Avenue. Unidentified attackers allegedly opened fire on Brar and his buddy as they were standing outside his house and then fled the area. Two people were taken to the hospital where one of them died.
