Ahmedabad gets 4mm of rain, some areas report waterlogging

Ahmedabad received an average of 4mm of rain on Monday, with the heaviest rainfall in Danapith. Waterlogging was reported in several areas, causing traffic congestion. The city has received 98% of its long-term average rainfall this monsoon season. The India meteorological department has forecasted light rain in some areas on Tuesday due to westerly winds and cyclonic circulations. There has been an increase in cases of viral, vector-borne, and waterborne diseases, with Civil Hospital reporting cases of dengue, hepatitis, malaria, and chikungunya.
