Rakhi claims to have endured two decades of abuse from her foster mother, who was a drug addict and alcoholic. After her foster mother's death, Rakhi discovered a document stating that she was adopted from Lucknow. She is determined to find her roots and fill the emotional void of not having a family or a date of birth.
