Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge slammed BJP's new disability pension rules for armed forces personnel, accusing them of "fake nationalism." The All India Ex-Servicemen Welfare Association has protested against the new policy, which was made public by the Ministry of Defence. Kharge claimed that the policy would disadvantage soldiers compared to civilian employees and violate past judgments and global norms.
