Priyanka Gandhi Vadra slams Centre over cut in import duty on US apple; BJP hits back

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized the central government for reducing import duty on American apples, claiming it would harm apple growers in Himachal Pradesh. The state Congress president also accused the BJP-led government of targeting apple growers. However, leader of opposition, Jai Ram Thakur, denied the allegations and stated that the import duty on American apples remained at 50%.
