Tuesday, 3 October 2023 Investigators are searching for a woman who accompanied the alleged murderer of woman constable Monika Yadav to a dhaba to create the false impression that Yadav was alive. The dhaba owner and a shopkeeper have been questioned, and the woman's initial pickup location has been identified. The investigators believe the woman may have been taken to other hotels in Punjab, Shimla, and Haryana. The accused also scattered copies of Yadav's identification documents and played recorded audio to manipulate her voice. The investigation began after Yadav's disappearance in September 2021.
