Govt expects over Rs 75,000 crore investment during World Food India to be held from November 3-5

The second edition of World Food India, to be held in November 2023, is expected to attract over Rs 75,000 crore ($10 billion) in investment in India's food processing sector. The event, which was not held in the past two years due to the pandemic, will feature participation from 16 countries, 23 state governments, and 11 Union ministries. The Netherlands will be the partner country, while Japan and Vietnam will be the focused countries.
