External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, stated that the comprehensive strategic partnership between India and Vietnam is becoming a source of security and progress in the region. He visited the Indian sail training ship INS Sudarshini in Vietnam and said, "From what I understood from the briefing, this training ship highlights the importance of discipline, hard work, ability to adapt, competence to the right press, and the courage to face unforeseen situations."
