SC contempt notices to NCLAT members for defying its order

The Supreme Court has initiated contempt proceedings against the judicial and technical members of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) for defying its order. The case involves a dispute over management control of Finolex Cables AGM results. The NCLAT bench had pronounced its order on October 16 despite being directed by the Supreme Court not to do so.
