Scientist kills hubby, 4 in-laws with thallium

IndiaTimes Thursday, 19 October 2023
An agricultural scientist allegedly out to avenge her father's death by suicide over her marital plight put her background in science to work and picked what homicide investigators call "poisoner's poison" - thallium - to murder her husband and four of her in-laws in Maoist-infested Gadchiroli. The poison was procured from Telangana after researching how to use it when her father hanged himself . The cycle of deaths started on September 20 and continued till October 10.
