Moninder Singh Pandher now a free man as jail time ends with acquittal in Nithari cases

Moninder Singh Pandher has been released from prison after being acquitted by the Allahabad high court in two Nithari murder cases. Pandher, the owner of the bungalow where skeletal remains were found, had spent 14 years behind bars since his arrest in 2006. He was convicted in three out of six cases linked to the Nithari killings. Pandher's lawyer expressed relief at the court's decision and stated that he needs proper medical treatment for his tuberculosis. His domestic helper, Surinder Koli, will continue to serve his life sentence.
