One month on, India resumes some visa services for Canadians

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 25 October 2023
Indian visa services for entry, business, medical, and conference visas have resumed after Canada increased security for Indian diplomats. This comes after Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar's statement that visa services could resume soon. However, tourist and e-visas for Canadians remain suspended. The decision to resume some visa services follows a review of the security situation and is based on the continuing evaluation of the situation. Entry visas are now being granted to people of Indian origin and dependent family members of employment visa holders.
