Infiltration bid foiled, terrorist killed along Line of Control in J&K’s Kupwara
Security forces successfully foiled an infiltration attempt, resulting in the elimination of a terrorist, in the Jumagund area of the Keran sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district, North Kashmir, as reported by the police on Monday. This infiltration bid occurred just four days after five terrorists were neutralized in a similar operation along the LoC in the Machil sector of the same district. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Kashmir Zone Police announced that the recent counter-infiltration operation was jointly conducted by the Army and Kupwara Police on Sunday.
