Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for his contribution to the unity of India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Speaking at an event commemorating Patel's 148th birth anniversary, Shah urged citizens to pledge to make India the best in the world by 2047. He credited Patel's determination and farsightedness for the united India we have today. Shah also highlighted Patel's role in uniting over 550 princely states after independence.
