Kerala 'bomber' Dominic Martin to argue his case in court

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 1 November 2023
Dominic Martin, the accused in the explosions at the Jehovah's Witnesses convention near Kochi, has decided to argue his case himself. He appeared before the district sessions court in Ernakulam wearing a black hood with slits for eyes. Despite being offered legal assistance, Martin insisted on representing himself. The court remanded him to judicial custody until November 29. Martin had confessed to causing the explosion and provided self-incriminating evidence, including a video of him detonating the explosive device. His motive is believed to be a grudge against the community.
